San Casciano in Val di Pesa is a very nice village and a comune in the south of Florence, located between Siena and Florence, along the ancient Roman road Cassia. The village offers a lot of facilities: a big supermarket, very good restaurants and pizzerias, a cinema, an olympic swimming pool, a theatre, shops, banks with ATM and pharmacies. There are interesting historical places and lots of cultural events throughout the year. San Casciano in Val di Pesa is placed in the heart of the Chianti area, an agricultural region famous for its wines and extra virgin olive oil. Here you are right in the heart of the Chianti region.
